Aikman on Jerry Jones, sort of

This blogging is a strange business. I stopped DC Fanatic's place this morning and found a link to Randy Galloway's ESPN radio show where Ed Werder was crediting Troy Aikman with a "briliant" observation about Jerry Jones' philosophy in putting a team together. I thought I should share Aikman via Werder via Galloway via DCF's while hoping nothing gets lost in this 2009 game of telephone.
Here's Werder channeling Aikman (Note there is a point where Aikman fades out and Werder takes the baton):
"Most GMs believe you have to have good team chemistry to win whereas Jerry believes that you'll have good team chemistry if you do win. And the way to win is to have the best players regardless of failures they've had at other places as long as they are guys who haven't had history of drug use and suspensions for that kind of conduct and they're hard workers and special players.
"He thinks that works here and maybe it would if you had the right guy as head coach, a guy who was demanding who was feared, a guy with real power but that's not the way it's set up at Valleey Ranch right now. So that's why I think you have a very divisive situation in the locker room right now beyond what I wrote a couple of weeks ago."
