The moratorium on Cowboys bashing in this space begins at midnight tonight.
Until then here's 103.3 ESPNers Randy Galloway and Mike Irvin with a little post Eagles-Cowboys talk. Remember, Mike was considered the ultimate play-till-you-drop guy. He's not just your ordinary press-box second guesser.
Here's Mike on the team's effort:
"This was a team that put forth no effort, no effort in two very very huge crucial games. The last game at Texas Stadium and then you turn around with a win-and-you're-in- game against the Philadelphia Eagles and you show that - no effort...They came out as 53 individuals trying to beat a real football team. I don't even call them a football team. They were 53 individuals on a football club...It showed and it was ugly."
And here's Mike on Cowboys players' criticism of offensive coordinator Jason Garrett's play calling:
"How do we know they are bad calls if you have no heart in the call he is calling...Before you say one word about the call that is being made show me everything you got and then point to Jason and say,'it's not working buddy.'...I'm not seeing the players give all they got so they got to shut up."
Listen and learn. And if you make it to the end, the answer to Mike's quandry is: "Take a cold shower."

.....Note, can't embed the vid right now, so you'll have to follow the link to watch it.
....Wonder if Irvin could come back to the Cowboys as some sort of assistant in any way, shape or form. Just to keep him in the meeting rooms, sidelines etc. to try and help this team out.
