Forget Lee Evans for now since Miles Austin looks like he could be the speed guy opposite Roy Williams.
I still want us to go w/ N.T. Casey Hamton which allows us to move Ratliff to L.D.E. to take over for Spears.
We get a TRUE N.T. run stuffer for the 3-4 and we now get some outside pass rush from the left side of the D-line.
Re-sign Sensabaugh and give Ware new contract and that's that for F/A
We're set at the skill positions on offense, so the only thing we need to revamp on offense is the O-line, with Ratlif moving to D.E. and the signing of Hampton, D-line is set for starters, but we could use another pass rusher for depth as well.
We're cutting Flozell, so I'll use our 1st rounder on a L.T. of the future BUT we'll also need to have a backup plan in case injury as well, and can groom another tackle to backup our 1st rounder at L.T. and eventually take over at R.T. as well, here goes.
Round 1: L.T. Ciron Black
Replaces Flozell and is our well needed future franchise L.T.!
Ciron Black, LSU - Scouting Report
Height: 6-5. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.27.
Projected Round (2010): 1-2.
1/6/09: Assuming he declares early, Ciron Black is one of six offensive tackles who are projected to be drafted in the first round. Black, who has started all 39 of his games at LSU at left tackle, is an All-SEC second-teamer.
11/1/08: Paving the way for Charles Scott this season, Ciron Black is likely the fourth tackle to go in the first round.
5/24/08: A member of the All-SEC second team, Ciron Black is a tremendous athlete who should be the third tackle off the board come April 2009.

Round 2: N.T./D.E. Vince Oghobaase
Gvies us flexibility, can play N.T. or D.E. to take over for Spears, we can move him to N.T. and move Ratliff to L.D.E. or keep Rat at N.T. and plug in Oghobaase as a day 1 starter at L.D.E. to replace Spears.
Vince Oghobaase, Duke
Height: 6-6. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.11.
Projected Round (2010): 2.
2/14/09: An All-ACC honorable mention, Vince Oghobaase collected 51 tackles, nine TFL and six sacks as a junior.
5/9/08: Vince Oghobaase is more than just 310 pounds of fat sitting in the middle of the defensive line. His body fat percentage low and thus he's more than a simple huge run-stuffer.

Round 3: O.T./O.G./C. Chris Scott
Another O.T. for depth cause we will have noothing but a rookie starting at .T. with not much behind him.
Chris Scott, Tennessee
Height: 6-5. Weight: 341.
Projected 40 Time: 5.43.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.
10/24/09: Named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week once this year.
2/9/09: Things were much different for the Vols in 2008. The offense was completely inept and the Great Pumpkin was consequently fired. Chris Scott will need Lane Kiffin to help his stock rebound.
7/27/08: A versatile lineman who can play just about every position up front. He started every game for a unit that surrendered only four quarterback sacks in 2007.

Round 4: O.G. John Jerry
Big Ole Massive guard in the Larry Allen/Leonard Davis mold and would be nice to add his bulk to take over for Kosier
John Jerry, Ole Miss
Height: 6-5. Weight: 350.
Projected 40 Time: 5.42.
Projected Round (2009): 3-4.
2/10/09: Will likely follow his older brother, Perry Jerry, into the NFL as a first-day selection.
7/28/08: Indianapolis residents should think about getting earthquake insurance soon. When John Jerry runs a 40 at the combine, many homes could be destroyed. Jerry, obviously a punishing run-blocker, started nine contests as a sophomore.

Round 5: C.B. LeRoy Vann
If I have to sit through another season of Patrcik Crayton returning punts I'm gonna puke!
LeRoy Vann, Florida A&M
Height: 5-9. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.39.
Projected Round (2010): 4-5.
3/7/09: I'm not sure how effective LeRoy Vann will be as an NFL corner, but when you have six kickoff/punt returns for touchdowns in a single season, who cares?

Round 6: L.B. Willie Young
We need more pass rushers
Willie Young, N.C. State
Height: 6-5. Weight: 243.
Projected 40 Time: 4.67.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.
2/12/09: Willie Young put on some bulk, but it's still not enough. He had 13 TFL and 6.5 sacks in 2008, however, so he figures to be a pass-rushing specialist in the NFL.
7/30/08: Willie Young started eight games as a sophomore and registered 16 tackles for loss and 24 quarterback pressures. His mediocre 40 paired with his small frame hurts his draft stock.

Round 7: S. P.J. Mahone
In the mold of our last draft where we want D.B.'s who can pick off passes, and Mahone had more INT's then games started.
P.J. Mahone, S, Bowling Green
Height: 5-11. Weight: 202.
Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.
3/13/09: In addition to recording 97 tackles, P.J. Mahone also broke up seven passes and snagged three interceptions.
8/6/08: Here's a weird stat - P.J. Mahone picked off more passes (seven) than games started (six). He also had 90 tackles.
That's it right now!
I figured we got enough in the back 8 on defense with last years draft class and what we had already, and got just one defender in the 1st 4 rounds because with Hampton and using a 2nd rounder on another D-lineman I really wanted to revamp the entire O-line since it's such a weak point and wanted to make it a strong point to protect Romo and open up our running game.
the late round pick gives us a Devin Hester/Dante Hall type of kick./Punt returner we've been lacking badly and allows us to have a real punt returner and a kick returner to save Felix for offense only.
