A MAN TRICKED THREE WOMEN INTO SIGNING "RELATIONS CONTRACTS" WITH HIM I never thought I'd have to say this, but apparently I do: Ladies . . . just because you've signed a contract which requires you to play the piano with a man, that doesn't mean you actually have to do it. I only bring this up because last Thursday, 50-year-old William Smith of Kelso, Washington, was convicted of rape . . . after he tricked three women into signing "relations contracts" with him. Apparently, Smith drew up the contracts agreeing to help three women . . . two of whom are his relatives . . . to pay for child care, housing costs, clothing and breast augmentation surgery . . . in return for making the beast with two backs. The women say they didn't want to play the piano with Smith . . . but they thought they had to since they'd signed a contract. According to the prosecutor on the case, "[Smith's] own words tell us what he's doing . . . The language in these contracts clearly shows he knows he's committing a crime, that he wants to make them his relations slaves because he wants control." Smith's sentencing is on December 30th. He could get up to 20 years in prison and $40,000 in fines. (Daily News Online)
