Yeah Yeah, way too early, but I'm bored!
Here goes, Marcus Spears is DEAD WEIGHT on our D-line and his contract is up, so he's a gonner in Free Agency IMO.
Not sure what's gonna happen with Sensabaugh if he has a good season if we'll keep him or not, but for now lets assume we don't need a safety next year with Sensabaugh as a possibly returner plus Mickens.
Our needs next year in order will probably be
L.D.E. to replace Spears
Speed W.R. - I like Austin, but if he gets hurt, we really have no one to stretch the field.
L.T. Flozell is UP THERE and is getting worse and worse and worse every year.
TRUE N.T. -- I love Ratliff but feel we should either move him to L.D.E. and get a TRUE Run stuffer, cause he penetrates and makes plays and gets sacks, BUT he's a little bit of a liability against the run, I hope we move him to L.D.E., ideally I'd love to get that 365lb N.T. in round 1 and move Ratliff to Spears spot, that would do wonders overall for our defense, but at the very least, we need a HUGE BODY to back up Ratliff in case of injury, something we DO NOT HAVE right now and could bite us in the ass bigtime if Ratliff goes down.
Well, GOOD NEWS, cause that should be our only real needs next year with possibly a safety depending on what happens there.
So, with that in mind here goes a mock, only 5 rounds for obvious reasons!

Round 1: Trade up a few spots to grab our future L.T., I'm sorry, but Flozell this time next year will be too old and is declining every year, and so why not grab a L.T. for the rest of Romo's career to protect him, you want Romo friendly, lets get him a top notch L.T. to protect his blind side!

Round 2: I LOVE THIS KID to take over for Spears, has the bulk to handle the L.D.E. spot but as it says, he's not just a fat blob, all muscle, and with 9 tackles for losses and 6 sacks, shows he can also get penetration and make plays behind the line of scrimmage, something Spears CANNOT do, as well as being a good run stuffer for the L.D.E. spot.

Round 3: Trade to move up in round 1.
_________________________________________________________________
Round 4: N.T. to rotate with Ratliff and have another short yardage and goal line situations as well.

Round 5: W.R. with SPEED and Kick return ability as well.

Round out the draft with a couple of D.B.'s and L.B.'s and I'm good!
We will have replaced Spears on the D-line, added a nice N.T. to rotate with Ratliff, it all begins and ends in the trenches, we got all the skill positions, L.B.'s, and D.B.'s, so this would infuse our D-line with some good young talent.
We will have gotten a speed W.R. to help out vertically in our offense and give Romo another weapon, and we also get our franchise L.T. for Romo as well to plug in at L.T. for the next decade.
This also allows us to drop Spears and Flozell's big contracts and get younger and better at the same time.

Trent Williams, Oklahoma
Height: 6-5. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.27.
Projected Round (2010): Top 25 Pick.
1/6/09: Trent Williams is having an amazing junior year, and could have challenged Duke Robinson and Phil Loadholt as the first Sooner lineman off the board if he declared early.

Vince Oghobaase, Duke
Height: 6-6. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.11.
Projected Round (2010): 2.
2/14/09: An All-ACC honorable mention, Vince Oghobaase collected 51 tackles, nine TFL and six sacks as a junior.
5/9/08: Vince Oghobaase is more than just 310 pounds of fat sitting in the middle of the defensive line. His body fat percentage low and thus he's more than a simple huge run-stuffer.

Round 4: N.T. to rotate with Ratliff and have another short yardage and goal line situations as well.
Jay Ross, East Carolina
Height: 6-3. Weight: 306.
Projected 40 Time: 5.08.
Projected Round (2009): 4-5.
2/14/09: Once again an All-Conference USA honorable mention, Jay Ross accumulated 48 tackles, 9.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks.
8/1/08: Jay Ross started 12 of East Carolina's 13 games as a sophomore. He registered 38 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks, earning himself a spot on the All-Conference USA honorable mention list.

Round 5: W.R. with SPEED and Kick return ability as well.
Jacoby Ford, Clemson
Height: 5-10. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.37.
Projected Round (2010): 4-5.
2/7/09: Jacoby Ford finished the year with 55 receptions, 710 yards and four touchdowns. Not bad considering Cullen Harper's early-season ineptness.
10/19/08: Amid Cullen Harper's struggles, Jacoby Ford has a career-high 26 receptions and 304 yards in seven games.
5/22/08: Jacoby Ford missed six games with an ankle injury. He had 17 receptions for 310 yards and four touchdowns the rest of the year.
2007: Jacoby Ford obviously doesn't have the size NFL coaches want, but his speed makes up for it. Plus, he was actually productive as a freshman, collecting 187 yards through the air and 104 more on the ground. His exceptional kick-returning skills help.
