Story #3: Pelosi Will Not Allow Five-Day Review for Health Care
RUSH: Well, isn't this good. Get ready to get gang raped again, folks. "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) will not give the public a week to review the final text of a health-care reform bill before it is voted on later this year. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) has also declined to commit to giving the public a week to read and consider the final health-care bill," despite Obama promising that all legislation will be up for five days on one of his stupid websites where everybody could read it. Let me tell you something. Hugo Chavez ain't got anything on us. This is the most leftward radical leftist House of Representatives this nation has ever elected and they are behaving as total statist autocrats.
They don't care what Obama's promised. They don't want you to read the legislation, is the bottom line. They don't want you to find out what's in it, and they are so brazen, they do not believe that you'll care. Some blog someplace tried to describe this, the House of Representatives under the Democrats has rarely been so shameless. So shameless? This is unlike anything this country's ever seen. We've always had communists and radicals and leftists and socialists running around the Democrat Party. We've never had a majority of them running the d**n country, and we do. And you see how they operate. Don't care about anything. This is going to happen however they have to cram it down and whatever you think be d**ned.

i have few thoughts on king shrub one way or the other at this point except that it was a frustrating time for me and that his supporters are self righteous, intellectually challenged neocon's who have no interest in facts, only GOP talking points and venom, and i am GLAD AS HELL that they have to endure squirming at every turn as our country tries to navigate the problems before us! has there ever been a dumber president? no! which seriously brings into question the intellect of people who supported him! and even more for those that still do!!!!!!! these things were very worrisome for those of us who were smart enough to see the stupidity from the start! many people were transformed from being supporters to not before his time was over. it is my opinion that many haters will have no choice but to admit that the country is better off at the end of Obama's time! i am not giving him a pass unless you consider having faith in him to take us were we need to be, which i do! i do not see the "harm" you speak of with the exception of my frustration over the bailouts. if that is the worst of it, i can easily live with that.

I know my name was not "mentioned" in this post but why must you resort to name calling? I have never once called you or anyone else stupid or "intellectually" challenged. And we disagree on just about everything in the political realm. But I respect that you have your opinion (even though I think its wrong).

i am just saying that i don't think you had to be very smart to see what a knuckle head the guy was/is. clearly alot of people put their political hopes in front of their rationale. the guy even admitted he doesn't like to read, this is presidential material? he 'appeared' to be a 'regular' guy - so what? i do not want the president to be a regular guy! but i digress... he never presented himself well in debates, stumbling over any question involving facts (he can spout his agenda but facts are lost on him), again a harbinger of cranial numbness, and his record as a CEO was far less than positive. there was/is no reason to have ever thought he was good for america, but only for an agenda that had no consideration for the countries well being, only the well being of his cronies, the elite - "my base" as he himself said!! evidence of the truth of that is on the front pages daily! to the undogmatic the truth was obvious from the start!!!! if you take that observation personally, i am sorry for that, but i stand by I a$$ertion. **edit** had to mistype it because the language filter wanted to edit the @$$ out of it
but none of that was my point, my point was that his support waned and he lost approval even amongst his own kind, save for the most hardcore neocons. it is I disagreeertion that the opposite will be true for obama and he will convert haters as his term evolves. time will tell..

I have no justification for this statement. But I truly feel this way. And that is that Obama will go down as the biggest mistake in US History. He got voted in for one reason and one reason only. And that was the hatred for Bush. And the fact the GOP didn't put the right person up against him (I guess thats two reasons)

as i said, time will tell
i came back to add this to my last post, but i will write it now instead. i question alot of things about your notions, and it may seem as if i am directing some of my negativity towards you directly in my gross generalizations, but let me be very very clear, if i thought you were anything but smart i wouldn't even bother to endure the back and forth! i do often feel you are misguided but i never think of you as dumb!! in fact you are as kind hearted and principled as any person could be! your values are not dissimilar to my own but we differ greatly on the application of those values and how they apply to our politics! in short, i love you like a brother, which means we can argue like brothers!! : )

You must have a crystal ball, Ark? To say, Sarah Palin is the next republican nominee for President. First of all, Governor Palin has to get re-elected as Governor of Alaska. Btw, whatever happened to the ethic charges that was brought against her? The republicans never had 60 seats in the U.S. Senate, while GWB was president. As the democrats currently have today. The repubs controlled 50 to 55 seats in the US Senate between 2001 to the 2006 election. (Lets not forget, on May 24th, 2001, one of the republican senators, "Jumping Jim," Jeffords, left the republican party.) It gave the majority back to the democrats in the US Senate. During the first six years of the Bush presidency. At the most, the repubs held 232 seats in the House of Representatives. The democrats hold 257 seats in the US House of Representatives right now. With the republicans holding 178 seats. Sure Ark! You can say the shoe is on the other foot. Over the last eight years, I didn't see you stop moaning once about "King Shrub!" As you keep calling him. Should conservatives bow to President Obama? Like, Mr. Obama did to King Abdullah a month or two ago. Its not going to happen, especially from me. I'm not upset over the last election cycle. You win & you lose some on election day. At least, McCain didn't lose to Obama. Like, Carter did to Reagan in 1980 & '84. Anytime when "Barracuda," comes down to the lower 48. The liberal media will let you know. Governor Palin was in Auburn, NY a month ago. She was all over the news that weekend. I hope your crystal ball is right, Ark. Its not that hard to figure out. Who will be the next republican nominee for president will be? The GOP usually telegraphs it 4 to 8 years in advance.
