These 8 lousy republicans are from so called, "Blue States." If it wasn't for these eight blue state repubs voting for it. This energy would of been defeated.
I don't have to worry about voting for Representative John Mchugh ever again. Since he's been nominated for the Secretary of the Army. Unless, he decides to run against, "Senator Chuck E." in 2016? That's if, someone doesn't beat him in 2010?
There's rumors of Rudy Guiliani running for N.Y. Governor. With a little luck, he'll choose to run for the U.S. Senate next year? Personally, I think Rudy has his sights on the Governor's House, & than the White House again.

i hope you are right! rudy is a sure loser for the GOP and i like that idea!! From last week's NY Daily News: www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2009/06/24/2009-06-24_rudy_giuliani_calls_albany_bizarre_as_gop_presses_him_to_run_for_governor.htmlCurrently in NY, there's chaos in the NY Senate. In a nutshell, two democrats jumped ship, & joined the republican party. Than one of them switched back to the left side. Leaving the NY Senate in a virtual tie at 31. Since than, each side has been calling for private sessions, without the other side being in the room. Governor Patterson, D has mentioned to involve law enforcement to solve the problem. IMO, Its just nuts. I'm not sure, how much attention this story is receiving in the national media? With everything else happening in the news lately.
