not an extremest? i guess it is common practice to talk about lynching! and people get shot every day for saying in god we trust in my neighborhood! NOT!! what an idiot!!
Joe The Plumber Suggests Lynching Chris Dodd The Huffington Post 06-26-09 04:12 PM
Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber," has had his fifteen minutes of fame during the 2008 election and was widely expected to disappear when the candidate who brought him into the spotlight lost. But he's still a star in conservative circles -- and still saying some odd, hostile things. At an event Thursday for the Wisconsin chapter of Americans for Prosperity (one of the lead organizations behind the Tax Day Tea Parties), Wurzelbacher suggested Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) should be lynched.
Wurzelbacher has a reputation for being a blunt, politically incorrect speaker. Referring to Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., more than once, Wurzelbacher asked, "Why hasn't he been strung up?"
Wurzelbacher appeared at a Tea Party in Michigan on April 15, where he claimed that he and other protesters were wrong labeled as extremists.
"I'm here for one reason and one reason only: It's 'I love America,'" Wurzelbacher told the crowd. "Mainstream media wants to paint us as a bunch of extremists, right? We're in search of liberty and our freedoms. What's so extreme about that?" [...]
"Let me give you another extremist view, 'In God We Trust,'" he said to wild applause. "Say that too loud in some parts of America and you will be shot. It's terrible." "'In God We Trust' ... too loud in some parts of America and you will be shot."

not an extremest? i guess it is common practice to talk about lynching! and people get shot every day for saying in god we trust in my neighborhood! NOT!! what an idiot!! So someone shouldn't say what's on their mind? The liberal party must fear this guy named, "Joe The Plumber." Let me ask you this, Ark ... If a conservative presidential candidate, just happens to be walking down your street. Would you walk over & ask the candidate an honest question? I would ... No matter who it was. I don't expect a presidential candidate to walk down my street. Not even my congressman would walk down my street. Its to small of a town. Ohio Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur must be feeling some heat in Ohio's Ninth Congressional District? When her friends at the Huffington Post has to write another article about John McCain's favorite plumber. If, "Joe The Plumber," decides to run against her? Representative Kaptur has only served fourteen terms in the U.S. House. Let alone, her being a domestic policy advisor to President Carter. I think, its about time to vote her out of office. Furthermore, the liberal cable news networks won't even touch this story. Their more focused on Michael Jackson's death. As they should be.

not sure what your point is, but mine is the fact that NO ONE IS GETTING SHOT IN ANY PART OF AMERICA FOR SAYING IN GOD WE TRUST like that dumb-a$$ said, and even further it is wrong to take a public forum and advocate violence EVER! if you approve of that then you are a lesser person in my opinion! anger can be expressed without using violent expressions and imagery! that is the kind of BS that sets off those wing nuts like we have seen on the headlines the last year! this is a recurring theme on this board though you righties want to give it a pass and make light of it! he is moron trying to provoke class warfare and partisan conflict, he is simply acting reprehensible!!

The cable news networks will not focus on, "Joe The Plumber." Unless, he decides to run against the Congresswoman. Than, you might see it on the cable news networks? According to what I read, Ohio's 9th Congressional District is a democratic stronghold. If there's a video of Joe Wurzelbacher saying it? Feel free to post it here. Than it may be a big story. Especially, if its a close election in that district? Furthermore, where in Wisconsin did he say it? Was it in Milwaukee? Or Green Bay? The Huffington Post should have a link to the story. I'm quite sure, there's more than one newspaper in Wisconsin. How come The Toledo Blade doesn't have, "Joe The Plumber's," comments? The newspaper is in the Congresswoman's district. Here's another politically incorrect statement "Joe/Sam the Plumber" made: www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090507/NEWS14/905070380From this article, Joe is taking potshots at both parties. Just not Chris Dodd. Btw, who's advocating violence?

Once again I agree with Kevin This guy had his 15 minutes and really did make some good points with his first encounter with NObama. But this kind of talk (Even though I believe it to be tongue in cheek) is un-called for. Your right no one is getting shot for saying In God we trust. But its getting to where you get some very strange looks. Example tonight we decided to hold our weekly Bible study at a local Pizza Place. No one said anything to us be we were definitely getting some strange looks. And as Kevin has said I don't just live in the Bible Belt I live on the Buckle of that belt. So you know things are not looking good ;D
