FWST: Cowboys say they have season ticket holders from all 50 states -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By ANDREA AHLES aahles@star-telegram.com Fans from all 50 states and the United Kingdom will be coming in to the Metroplex to watch the Dallas Cowboys play in their new $1.1 billion stadium this year. According to a survey the NFL franchise did of its season ticket holders for its new stadium in Arlington, the Cowboys have sold 2009 season tickets to fans across the country. After Texas, California has the most season ticket holders. San Antonio has the most outside of the Metroplex. "This is just an example of the broad-reaching support the history of this franchise has created," team spokesman Brett Daniels said. Greg Oates, an IT consultant who lives in the United Kingdom, became a Cowboys fan since watching the TV show Dallas in the 1980s. He’s held season tickets since 1991 and made it stateside to see the final game at Texas Stadium in December. "I come to four or five games each year," Oates said. "It’s a no-brainer, just something I do." ANDREA AHLES, 817-548-5523 www.star-telegram.com/332/story/1194480.html__________________
