Looks like we get Burnette, Kosier ( huge) , and watkins back this week. They all dressed in pads. Burnette got a little playing time last week vs the rams. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The deal is can we pull off a win ( hopefully 2) before the bye? Tampa is a HUGE game , followed by the giants which is even bigger. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the bye we should get Romo, Felix Jones, and possibly newman, and spencer back. that makes dallas a different football team then it is now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really expect to see a much better performance than we saw a week ago. If brad Johnson can't hit the short routes on a consistant baises he needs to be pulled fast. He already cant hit the deep routes, so if he looks like he did a week ago he is worthless to us, and maybe bolliger can do something good. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I expect to see a expanded role for Roy Williams this week. He is a fast learner and should be able to get the entire game plan and make a difference. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we lose the next 2 games , we are looking at having to run the table to make the playoffs. We have the ability to do it, but it will be a major task. If we can pull off one or two wins over the next 2 weeks, last weeks disaster becomes a bad game, that all. Prossman

I'm really pulling for the big 'bi'....I don't see why these Cowboys can't pulled the trigger. I'm looking forward to the addition of Roy Williams. By the way, the Cowboys have recently signed two special team veterans...at outside linebacker, I think most were already familiar with, but Dallas also picked up a safety to replace the IR'd Roy Williams. He's 6'3" Daren Stone. I think he was cut after camp by Atlanta, due to a DUI...yea, I know, another 'problem' player. He had started some the previous year with the Falcons. He's supposed to be another strong special teamer. If the special team coverage comes up in performance, I think the Cowboys will have a lot more opportunity to excell. As Keyshawn use to say...just throw TO and Roy Williams the dang ball! I really am look towards some better defense this game.
Dunn and the Pewter Buc's running game better be handled by the Dallas D!! Watkins and Burnette should max out the coverage units as well. Then there is Kosier, and I hope that this week, Marion Barber opens up a fifty yard run and two touchdowns as well. Maybe the step up area in the pocket will be there for Brad Johnson. I think his first half was horrible last week, but he got back into the groove, and did much better the second half. I'm using that as my gauge for what to expect from him...instead of the three interceptions and first half 66 yards passing. He did end up with 230 yards for the game.

but the score sure wasn't. We gave up 21 points over a period of 5 minutes, thru turn overs. Brad Johnson doesn't have the ability to bring us back from behind. Our blocking hasn't been the same since Kosier got hurt in game 2 vs the packers, so he should make a nice impact. I aso like the two specail teams guys we have picked up. I wonder if Daren Stone could beat out Watkins or Davis for the starting job. Either way we may have just fixed our ST problems with two bigtime guys. I don't care how they win the next two games just win baby! It will be a good barometer of the pride and heart of this team. Prossman
