After a Call from "Iron man" Brett Farve ( romos childhood hero) brett told romo he had played with a broken thumb for a entire season. This has inspired tony to not give up on playing this week. Ben Rothlesburger has played with a special glove that protects his hand and said he loves it. I don't know if Ben plays every week or just when his hand was hurt. The cowboy trainers have been putting special wraps on Tony's finger and he has been throwing with it this week. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Should tony be allowed to start if he is throwing effectively? It's all about how well he functions by the end of the week . And most of all , his accuracy and velocity. Also taking snaps will be tough , can't risk a fumble in your own territory to start the game .
Me ,personally - no way I risk it , it might prolong the problem . Arthritis may set in and affect his throws going forward.

I don't think we should pull the panic button on tony. How many guys have we brought back early and they got reinjured? Kosier, newman, spencer...... I think to bring back tony this week vs the rams would be pushing the panic button. Prossman
