and after a loss, that's momentum if nothing else.
I'm happy that the Cowboys won. Being a fan, that should mean more to us than a yawn and disappointment. They WON the game...
As to direction, one could nit pick a ton of stuff, but the 103 Qb rating and three touchdown passes in a balanced attack is nothing to ignore.
Sure, there is room for improvement, but the team HAS overcome their deficiencies and achieved victories. That is character, even if it always isn't pretty. The Ravens went through a Super Bowl NOT being pretty all season long.
Last season, the team was about at the same point with a Buffalo team, and Tony Romo all but imploded, yet came back with a miracle. The team won, then, as it did yesterday.
As to pulling clutch plays, there were quite a few by Dallas. Two that stand out to me, was the forced fumble by Tank Johnson and the game on the line touchdown catch by TO. I would then include the two sacks in the final three minutes, one by Ware and one by Ratliff...and to this add a clutch defended pass by 'killer' Davis on the two point conversion. Throw in a couple of fourth down drive stretching plays, one a TD scamper by Felix Jones. Two runners around the hundred yard mark, and things aren't nearly where the Monday morning gloomist and mediates would have us believe about our Cowboys.
Hey, it works for me....

One thing we must not overlook regardless of the bengals record is Carson Palmer. He is a outstanding qb, arguably one of the top 3-4 in the NFL. I would swap romo for palmer straight up nO questions asked, and I am a big romo fan. Dallas started strong floundered in the middle and finished strong. I thought our dbs played well, esp with Ocho back. He has to be respected injury or no. Dallas is at a point where they just need to keep winning, and fighting and improving every week. I was a solid win after a tough loss to the skins a week ago. Now lets go and put it on the cardinals for good measure. Prossman
