The number one problem I have with wade and every coach except parcells, is the cowboys have to discipline themselves. Switzers coaching style is the poor white trash verson of wade. Switzer does have a superbowl ring , with a team that hade been hardened by Jimmy Johnson. This cowboy team is talented enough to get on a roll in the playoffs and win a superbowl. It also has the equal potential to be 14-2 and not even get to the superbowl because of it mental mistakes and lack of discipline. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I miss the most from both the Jimmy Johnson and Landry eras is , I knew the teams were prepared and the coaching staff could get more out of players than their talent level. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jerry Jones has been outstanding as GM in the way he has put talent on this team, and mastered the cap numbers. I don't know what else Jeery can do to get this team over the top. If wade blows this season, fire him before he leaves the stadium and make him take a cab home! Prossman

Pross, I wouldn't be too quick at an impulse to jump the raft approaching a rapids, until you get a feel for the helmsman. Right now, Wade is relying a good deal upon actual game adjustments by both of his coordinators. As those two grow, with pains and all, the team will get a great deal stronger through the whole season's progression.

I know from my gut that this team will get stronger and better as the season goes along. I just hate losing games because of stupid football, especially to the skins. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My frustration lies in the fact that it has been since Jimmy Johnson and Tom Landry since we have had a coach that got more out of his players than there talent level. It is almost like the players are self disciplined/motivated, meaning they ain't gonna get it from the coaching staff so they better do it themselves. So I am forced to sit here and wait for our players to figure it out vs our coach leading them on to victory. This team could easily get on a roll and run the table come playoff time and get us a "NEW" super bowl ring. But if they continue to play this way, they could just as easily have another one and done. Prossman

You know Pross, in today's world, things are so non-supportive of a fan's view. What I'm meaning, is that good intentions and support that is long suffering and based upon a simple and plain love, find it hard to maintain the patience and perspective to see through temporary setbacks and not be perterbed by the challenge that is then presented. Yet, it is still there, despite our social tendencies. I think that this staff is being challenged early, but that will also make them much better at addressing the many varieties of challenges that will still be directed at the same core problems. Just between you and me, I think that I would hate to be the Bengals coming into a real hornet's nest this week...

As I watched wade week to week a year ago, things he wanted addressed week to week got fixed week to week. He just makes me nervous with his laid back style. I'm thinking, yell at someone, throw your clipboard, kick somebody in the ass, something. When you think about it he is 16-4 in a year and a quarter. So obviously he knows a little about what he is doing! Prossman ;D
