Marion Barber speaks - sort of 12:38 PM Tue, Dec 15, 2009 David Moore/Reporter
If you're wondering what Marion Barber has to say about being stopped from the 1-yard line on three consecutive plays against San Diego, if you're wondering about that crucial first half fumble in the loss to the New York Giants the week before, here you go.
"Don't even waste your time,'' Barber said to reporters as they scurried to crowd around his locker Tuesday. "Don't even waste your time.
"I'm blessed.''
With that, he turned and walked out of the lockerroom.
Maybe tomorrow.
this liaise fair attitude is exactly the problem with this team. no one wants to step up and take responsibility nor take a leadership role on this team, and i don't mean the lead by example BS. MBIII ought to step up and speak publicly about things even perhaps to the point of taking responsibility for the loss. most people would disagree and blame the line, but that is besides the issue. the issue is willingness to take the lead, to take the bullhorn, challenging themselves and the rest of the team, yes publicly, because then the pressure is not just internal, if there is indeed any internal pressure, which i am not sure there is. no accountability individually or as a team. whose fault is that? you tell me.

Don't expect to be Marion Barber. He hardly ever talks to the media.
We once had a guy like that on the team. Some people called him, "Terrible." I think, we all know who I'm talking about. With his history of bashing the QB, it always came out the wrong way.
Their is no vocal leaders in the locker room. We need a Michael Irvin type of a player. Enuff said!

Wade stated the team view on direction, when he gave a vote of confidence to the already established group of starters. That stated, Felix Jones came in on the second play of the game...so the mix is what is important. I think that Tony Romo himself, is starting to fill the role as leader, as he has gone his third straight 100+ QB rating game in a row, without an interception as well. His role with Miles Austin, and an increasing showing by Roy Williams are the dominant thing here. I feel as this grows even more, that issue of team leader will be solved. The 'leadership' aspect was hurt this past game, with the injury to DeMarcus Ware and Ken Hamlin, the secondaries' vocal head missing during play...and things look more off than they are evolving towards.
