DMN Blog: Razorback is Back / Big Bang Theory / Romo Witten OK
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RAZORBACK IS BACK
David Moore
The Razorback formation had its best showing of the season for the Cowboys.
Tashard Choice ran the ball four times from the Razorback. One of those was negated by a Deon Anderson holding penalty. But the first resulted in a 66-yard run and set up the Cowboys first score, a 36-yard field goal by Nick Folk. Choice gained 67 yards from the formation on the afternoon.
The Cowboys have run from the Razorback 12 times this season for 116 yards and one touchdown. That's an average of 9.7 yards every time Choice lines up in the formation.

BIG BANG THEORY FOR COWBOYS
David Moore
The Cowboys amassed 494 yards of offense. A staggering 384 of those came on 10 plays as the team made Oakland pay for its insistence on man-to-man coverage.
The Cowboys became only the third team this season to have 10 plays of 20 or more yards in the same game. Eight of those plays traveled 25 or more yards.
That's the most in the NFL in three years.
Talk about pent-up frustration. The Cowboys totaled only five plays of 20 or more yards in the previous two games.
"That was huge for us, especially coming off the last two weeks,'' tight end Jason Witten said. "Our offense, we have a high standard. Everybody does, you know. For whatever reason to not be able to put up those numbers and not be able to score points...It cost us a game in Green Bay.
"To be able to bounce back, it gives us a lot of confidence and momentum going forward.''

Jason Witten, Tony Romo feeling OK
Todd Archer
Tony Romo and Jason Witten had extra treatment before the game on their sore back and sprained left foot Thursday.
After the 24-7 victory, they felt ... OK. Not great, but OK.
You could tell Romo's back was stiff by how he was standing at his locker after the game.
"The back was OK throwing the ball," said Romo, who took a hit on the first series. "It kind of jumps up every once in a while when I got hit. It happened a few times early in the game. It made mejust suck it up and do waht I had to do. It's part of the game. It's part of grinding it out, trying to compete and still trying to win. We had a lot of guys who pt forth a lot of effort."
Witten said his foot was sore after.
"Anytime you cut on it it's sore, but I think it held up a lot better than I thought it would," Witten said.
