it seems to me that the officiating, while never perfect for anyone, is going unfairly against the Cowboys more than ever! the team usually gets past it, they are usually their own worst enemy where penalties are concerned, but the lack of calls the other way and the ticky-tacky nature of calls against the 'Boys seems more inequitable than anytime in recent memory! WTF? is it just me? isn't a challenge call or timeout call when you don't have one a delay of game?
and also, what the heck is wrong with our running game? barber just doesn't seem to be able to create, sure he finishes strong and he is not running weak, but it seems like if he doesn't have an open path to the second level, he gets nothing! choice is feast or famine, and that fella out there in Felix Jones uniform is not the guy i have had a man crush on for years! the Packers had given up like 80 points in 2 games and we have one of the best offenses in the league, and we can only get a desperate mop up TD?
final thought, was RWII's game the WORST 100+ yard/TD game ever by a WR?

It’s easy to assume the worst from officiating crews when your team comes out on the short end of the stick, in such a frustrating manner. There’s no doubt they (the officials) blew a couple, but the Cowboys had no business putting themselves in the position that they did.
The question that needs to be answered is why are the majority of the players saying that the team just didn’t execute. They admit to having many breakdowns on the o-line, and the receivers and QB both stating that they didn’t perform close to par. You want to question anything, first find answers as to “why” comments such at these?
Personally, I think we all should have seen this result coming from a mile away. Prior to this road trip, you get the sense that a split with GB and Philly would be acceptable to most fans. Maybe the team had “somewhat” the same mindset. It’s like being the road team in a 5-game baseball playoff series. Yippie, we took the first game and will go home for game 3 with, at worst, a split. Typically that same road team gets “housed” in game 2 because they were content with taking game one. If that, in any-way-shape-or-form, holds water with what happened Sunday, then this team in mentally not ready to win a playoff game for yet another season.
Another train of thought to have (and its acceptable) is that this game was just a “clunker” and you ran up against a team that was kicking a scratching for its very playoff life. They just “needed” it more.
As far as a choice for carries from our backs - I choose Choice. Marion’s still got something going on with that quad. The longer runs from scrimmage that he is getting are created by holes that I could run through, and he does not seem to be able to finish with the power that we are accustomed to seeing. As for Felix – he just ain’t right. I would consider a lesser role for him until he can really contribute. Choice is finishing his runs right now every bit as well as Barber is, and with his speed I think he is capable of getting to the second tier, with more success, than Marion. But…..I’m not holding my breath on any changes here.
All in all, eh, it’s just one game so don’t jump yet guys, it’s a long season.

Overall it equals out. At times you do think that it's time to And the referees the call. But they review the games and instruct each person and crew on what is right and wrong. So we are not out there ;D they get it right. and we do not get because of it. or after the game we are left out there then get and start posting that the referees are 's and we hurt ourselves by and at the end of the year we still only have many in the case. By the way how many do the Eagles have...........

Ark, at least this last game, I'd say there was a very definite officiating bias in the game. I'm not even trying to say they were not 'fair' in their view, just they smothered the game with their calls. This was when action clearing had no affect upon the actual play on and around the ball. Here, with just casually observed or thought violations completely turned plays and field positions around, in the tune of thirty yards or even a possession being given completely new life...or ball exchanges also.
One of those many third down conversions was called back on a pass interference penalty against WITTEN. Who wasn't even in the area or related to the player who caught a nice pass. He merely lowered a shoulder when players in the small area crossing was unavoidable from contacting himself. They called it clearing the area out, and it ended up costing the Cowboys about forty-five yards after all was said and done.
As to Roy W, I think he definitely is coming along. The one pass that hit him in his headgear, was due to glare on his eye shield. He then took it off after the play, because he had been blinded by the lights, just like in baseball and a fielder with an incoming fly ball. Sometimes those things just occur.
On the fumble, it was an awkwardly as well as lucky fumble...that won't happen again. He did make some good catches and runs around those awkward plays.
Ark, what strikes me MORE, is that Dallas could have touchdown passes with the early toss to Miles Austin, and then with Witten at the goalline if the ball had not been on his back hip and interceptable...but also, there was a deep pass to Bennett who was wide open for a touchdown as well. That was easily a point swing of twenty-one points, beyond all the other dumb and official affected progressions.
