O.K., IMO we're SET for NOW at Q.B./R.B./T.E./W.R. on offense, we got Roy Williams, and with Hurd, Crayton, Austin, and now Ogletree could look like a real STEAL, I think we'll be fine come draft time next year at this spot, bottom line, if we're not gonna use a 1st rounder on a W.R., which I doubt we will, I can't see any later round draft pick being THAT MUCH better then what we got, so that's why I will leave W.R. off this mock, and since we're set at EVERY OTHER SKILL POSITION on offense, I will only be drafting O-lineman for offense.
On defense, I will sign ONE F/A, Vince Wilfork to take over at N.T. and move Ratliff to L.D..E. cause Spears is OUTTA HERE!
We will cut ties with Flozell as well, and so we'll not onyl need a starter to replace him, we'll need a backup as well at minimum to upgrade for McQuistan, so I'll go heavy on the O-line and even with Wilfork signed, we'll need another big body in the middle as well, and will need another backup at D.E. while we're at it for more depth on the D-line, we loaded up at L.B. and D.B. in the past 2 drafts, and we got the offensive skill players, so I'll be going heavy on BOTH Lines.
So here goes.

Round 1: L.T. Ciron Black
We get our future at L.T. to replace Flozell and protect Romo's blindside the rest of his career, L.T. is thee most important posiiton on offense besides Q.B., so I'll be using our 1st rounder on such an important position, wouldn't mind moving up either if it means we get a franchise L.T.!
Ciron Black, LSU - Scouting Report
Height: 6-5. Weight: 315.
Projected 40 Time: 5.27.
Projected Round (2010): 1-2.
1/6/09: Assuming he declares early, Ciron Black is one of six offensive tackles who are projected to be drafted in the first round. Black, who has started all 39 of his games at LSU at left tackle, is an All-SEC second-teamer.
11/1/08: Paving the way for Charles Scott this season, Ciron Black is likely the fourth tackle to go in the first round.

Round 2: N.T./D.E. Vince Oghobaase
Gives us a top notch backup to ALL 3 D-line posiitons in case of injury and a good guy to plug into the rotation as well.
I'm STILL pissed off we got no one to backup Ratliff going into the season in case of injury, Oghobaase takes care of that while giving us a good player to add to the rotation as well.
Vince Oghobaase, Duke
Height: 6-6. Weight: 310.
Projected 40 Time: 5.11.
Projected Round (2010): 2.
2/14/09: An All-ACC honorable mention, Vince Oghobaase collected 51 tackles, nine TFL and six sacks as a junior.
5/9/08: Vince Oghobaase is more than just 310 pounds of fat sitting in the middle of the defensive line. His body fat percentage low and thus he's more than a simple huge run-stuffer.

Round 3: O.T. Matt Reynolds
Gives us a good backup and insurance policy on Ciron Black as well, seems that maybe Free and definately McQuistan need to be replaced as well, and his ability to play guard as well makes him really valuable and can take over at R.T. in a couple years when Columbo gets older as well, would give us a nice prospect on the O-line to groom and be a valuable backup.
Matt Reynolds*, BYU
Height: 6-6. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.10.
Projected Round (2010): 2-3.
2/9/09: Capable of playing a few positions up front, Matt Reynolds could be targeted in the second round, given how desperate teams are for offensive tackles.
___________________________________________________
Round 4: O.L.B. Jermaine Cunningham
We're set at I.L.B. with our draft this past year and our starters in place, we do need more O.L.B. pass rusher types though.
Jermaine Cunningham, Florida
Height: 6-3. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.69.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.
2/12/09: Jermaine Cunningham did a great job putting on some bulk this season, moving up from 237 to 250 pounds. Cunningham had 10 TFL, six sacks and four passes broken up in 2008.
7/30/08: Jermaine Cunningham is an elite collegiate defensive end who registered 6.5 sacks as a sophomore. However, he's destined to be a situational pass rusher in the NFL in the mold of an Elvis Dumervil, as he'll be a major liability against the run.

Round 5: C.B. LeRoy Vann
Gives us more depth at C.B. and gives us what we need as a punt returner, cause if I have to watch one more season of crayton I''m gonna kill myself.
LeRoy Vann, Florida A&M
Height: 5-9. Weight: 185.
Projected 40 Time: 4.39.
Projected Round (2010): 4-5.
3/7/09: I'm not sure how effective LeRoy Vann will be as an NFL corner, but when you have six kickoff/punt returns for touchdowns in a single season, who cares?
__________________________________________________
Round 6: C./G./T. Chris Hall
Gives us a good backup at Center and ends this proctor experiment gone horribly wrong and is very versatille as well.
I feel with Hall to backup Gurode, Ciron Black to start at L.T., and Matt Reynolds to backup Black and can play guard as well, we'll revamp our O-line and have very good depth across the baord with players who all can play multiple positions.
Chris Hall, Texas
Height: 6-4. Weight: 300.
Projected 40 Time: 5.06.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.
2/11/09: Qualified for the All-Big XII Second Team despite missing a bit of action with a knee sprain.
7/28/08: One of the more versatile linemen in this class, Chris Hall started at every position as a sophomore.
___________________________________________________
Round 7: D.E. John Fletcher
More depth added to the D-line, can't hold onto potential with Jason Hatcher and Bowen forever.
John Fletcher, Wyoming
Height: 6-6. Weight: 280.
Projected 40 Time: 4.82.
Projected Round (2009): 6-7.
2/12/09: A member of the All-Mountain West Second Team, John Fletcher recorded 6.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks in 2008.
7/31/08: John Fletcher was extremely productive as a sophomore, registering 10.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss.

O.K. that's it.
We get a L.T. to replace Flozell, another L.T. to replace McQuistan or Free as a backup and future at R.T. and casn play guard as well, we can a center who can backup Gurdoe to get rid of Proctor and can play guard as well also.
That's what we get on offense, just what we need, an OVERHAUL of the O-line.
The rest of the draft goes towards building one of the best Defenses of all time.
We get Oghobaase to be a valuable backup at all 3 D-line positions, we also get anhter D.E. pass rusher to add to the mix to replace Hatcher or Bowen as well, need to get younger and cheaper.
We get a C.B. for depth and more importantyl a TOP return man to add to our special teams, and we get an O.L.B. with pass rush skills.
I think by over hauling the O-line and D-line this year, it willallow us in 2011 to really go after a playmaker at wherever we feel we need a player to put us over the top if we havent' already won a superbowl.
This also gets us younger and adds more versatility to our O-line and adds more depth to the D-line.
Thoughts?
