Sunday's Dallas Cowboys training camp report

Observation deck
¡ö It was a rough morning session for CB Courtney Brown. He was beaten on go routes by Roy Williams and Kevin Ogletree, and Isaiah Stanback beat him on a crossing route. He was able to rip the ball away from Patrick Crayton.
¡ö Williams created space to throw for Tony Romo on a deep route by veering only slightly toward the numbers before breaking outside.
¡ö On a flea flicker, Romo elected to hit Williams underneath instead of going to Crayton on a deep route with S Patrick Watkins looming. It looked like the smart decision instead of forcing a big play.
¡ö S Gerald Sensabaugh opened the afternoon seven-on-seven period by picking off a Romo pass intended for TE Jason Witten.
¡ö LG Kyle Kosier had an effective period during 9-on-7 run drills, pushing LB Bradie James out of the way on a Marion Barber run.
¡ö RG Leonard Davis' first two run-period blocks were devastating, but he was slow on a pull to his left on a Felix Jones run, and the play's timing was disrupted.
¡ö LB DeMarcus Ware had an interception of rookie QB Stephen McGee, whose pass to Willie Reid was not wide enough. Ware had only rookie G Greg Isdaner in front of him for a touchdown.
¡ö The exchange between Kitna and C Cory Procter has been an issue since the organized team activities. Unofficially, Kitna has had seven poor exchanges (four with Procter), including one Sunday, during training camp.

Two-minute drill: WR Isaiah Stanback
Team bowling champion
So, you claim you're the best bowler on the team?
I won [Jason Witten's charity tournament] this year. We have a lot of good bowlers on the team ¨C myself, Patrick Crayton, Roy Williams, Andre Gurode. We've got a nice little squad of guys who can bowl. If we had an NFL bowling league, I think we'd win.
What's a typical score for you?
I usually get in the 180s, 170s or 180s. I pull a 200 out of my pocket every now and then. When we start betting against each other, it gets pretty serious. If you're not rolling a 190, you might as well go home. We bet around $20 a game.
If you're a serious bowler, you've got your own ball. What does yours look like?
I've got two balls, man. I don't know what their names are. I just know they move a lot. I've got the newest, hottest balls. Whatever moves the most, that's what I've got. I've got a couple of towels. I've got my own shoes. I come correct.
Is the color important with these balls?
I've got a purple ball. I was purple in high school, purple in college. I'm blue now, so I've got a purple ball and a blue ball. One is my curveball, one is my straight ball.
How are the shoes looking?
Oh, they're about as clean as some bowling shoes can get. Bowling shoes don't have much style. Jordan needs to come out with some.

Mistaken identity
As receivers Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin chatted Sunday afternoon, they somehow landed on the topic of jerseys.
"You want to switch?" Crayton asked.
"Let's do it," Austin answered.
Austin wore No. 84 for the day's second practice. Crayton slipped into No. 19. Receivers coach Ray Sherman didn't notice until drills.
"I thought, that's Patrick, that's not Miles," Sherman said. "I began teasing them, calling him Patrick Miles and Miles Crayton."
What was the verdict?
"As No. 84, a lot of people say I look more like a wideout," Austin said. "But I think No. 19 makes him look a little younger."
The two will return to their normal jerseys for today's practice.
