Last night we played well on Defense! I think Portis not 100% helped, but the D' was vastly better last night.
BUT...
We need to ditch the 3-4!
Our D-Line is clearly better suited for a 4-3.
Ratliff would be a dominate DT, he's just not a 3-4 NT.
Line him and Tank (Not a NT either) up at DT and we have a force in the middle. Spears would fit nicely in a rotation there as well.

That's a hard one Eric, but against the very dominant teams, Dallas does have the option to play much more 4-3 for that particular game. This might allow more adapatability, yet retain the general features of their characteristic forging main scheme.
New England has done the above, on more than one occasion. It allows you to attack opponent weaknesses better, in situations. Yet, you retain the overall flexability of the 3-4 base.
