The Dallas Morning News reports there are two guys in the bargain bin of free agency that could help the Cowboys next season. Chargers ILB Randall Godfrey, a former Cowboy, is on record as being interested in reuniting with HC Wade Phillips. The Cowboys need depth at this position with LB Ryan Fowler bolting for big bucks. Godfrey wouldn't replace Fowler on special teams, but he'd give the Cowboys a proven leader with knowledge of Phillips' system. Sounds like a deal for the veteran's minimum.
Seahawks FS Ken Hamlin might cost a little more than that, but he doesn't have a whole lot of leverage. Seattle signed S Deon Grant to replace Hamlin, who missed most of the 2005 season after being seriously injured in a streetfight. If the Cowboys are comfortable that Hamlin isn't a character risk, he'd be a significant upgrade over the Keith Davis/Pat Watkins combo.

Anyone think these would make good signings?
