While I believe we have seen some gutless performances by this team recently, I do attribute some of that to Romo being injured. The team relies on his super hero ability so often that when he is not in, I think it lets the air out of their confidence.
But that doesn't change the results of lack of desire this team has shown. Some blame Wade. I think he and his staff have a part in this, but I also believe this falls back on the players.
Hudson Houck is not a bad coach. Yet his squad is under achieving. The results have been similar no matter what coach has led this team over the last four or five years. At some point when you see gutless, you have to consider the players.
And if these guys put their faith in Romo to a degree that causes them to lose their swagger when he is not in the game, then that may be the writing on the wall.
However, there is lots of football left to play, and we have lost two games in our division. But we whip the Skins in two weeks and run the table on the East and we have a shot at a wild card.
From here on every week is a play-off game.

I have read comments by fans and Jean-Jaques Taylor that the brain trust is ruining what Parcells built. And I say to that...
Bulloney!!!!!!
Taylor was one of the biggest proponents of this team being SB bound at the beginning of the year. He flaps in the wind more than any fan I see posting. His amazing turn-around reveals an insight into this game I might expect from someone like Rosie O'Donnell. Truth be told, she probably started at Defensive End in front of Taylor in high school.
I agree this team has floundered recently. But I also remember the 1996 season and how the world came crashing down after a pretty significant game in Philly when Barry ran 4th and 1 twice.
One game at a time. Build confidence and get first downs and the touchdowns will come.
The defense is showing signs of coming together. Don't give short fields to the other guys and make them earn each yard and lets see what we have.
The line for giving up starts over there. ---------------------------->
Just the other side of the Loserville city limits.

I do not believe the Giants are all that. Just like the Rams turned out to show they weren't ready for prime time against the Cards.
They sure look tough playing lousy QBs. RothlessQB is not great. He would not start for the team in Dallas.
The game was there for the taking Sunday if Dallas had any offense at all. And while some rejoice in Bollinger's entry into the game, we still did not have a starting quarterback on the field.
We play at our house in a month. Let's see how well their defense plays when we are healthy, have R. Williams acclimated, and aren't giving them the short field.
In the 100-yard dash, it ain't the guy who leads at the 50-yard line that wins it all.

I think if I see another post by anyone on how we overpaid for Roy Williams I will spit-up.
If for no other reason than that one-handed catch, this should be obvious.
Who was the last guy to make catches like that for this team?
Hint: He has a radio show in Dallas and was not a receiver for Staubach.

While I do not believe the entire blame should fall at the feet of Wade. I so think this guy needs to exit stage left at the end of the season.
Jerry knows what to do.
And there will be dancing in the street when J. Jones tunes up a little "Chin" music for the Dallas faithful.
New stadium, new coach who has skins on the wall.
There has never been a press conference that Jerry hasn't loved.
Is there anyone who doesn't think this would be the mother of all pressers if he announced Cowher as the head coach for 2009?
Bet those seats would sell out.

Note to Jason Garrett.
If you leave Felix on the bench in any game from here on out and do not use him like you did against Washington, your genius title is hereby revoked.

Wade, if the other team is going to score anyway, why not play press coverage?
Giving the 8-yard out or comeback is more stupid than South Park.

Heal Jason Witten. Heal!

Martellus Bennett is a player. I wonder if the ones biting their pillows after the first few episodes of Hard Knocks got the Lotus Notes?

In the darkest of times is when men reach deep into their souls and find the courage to do what it takes to overcome.
If I were the coach I would rent a movie theater and show the film "The 300" to the entire team.
If I were Jerry Jones I would petition Goodell to allow this team to add a patch to the uniform that simply says...
300
From here on out a missed tackle cost you 250 dollars.
Dropped pass - 250 dollars.
Missed block - 250 dollars.
Hands on your hips in the fourth quarter - 250 dollars.
The other team scores during special teams - 250 dollars to every player.
Fumble, interception, missed fumble recovery, missed interception catch - 500 dollars.
This is where we draw the line. This is where we no longer allow them to pass or run.
This is where we win or die trying.
Come home on your feet or on your shield.
We are the 300.
We are the Dallas Cowboys!
