Jock-Metal Kings Limp Bizkit Reunite posted: 3 HOURS 10 MINUTES AGO (Feb. 12) -- If for the past eight years you've been holding back your urges to break stuff and do it all for the nookie, your teenage-rage-via-music is about to be sated, as Limp Bizkit is officially back. Fred Durst and crew -- including cred-providing guitarist Wes Borland -- are bringing the group back for the first time since disbanding in 2001. In the late '90s, they were at the forefront of the rap-metal genre, eventually steering more into pop territory. They scored major hits with tunes like the sexually selfish 'Nookie,' the angry-violent 'Break Stuff' and a screamy cover of George Michael's 'Faith.' "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other," Durst and Borland told Access Hollywood. "Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back." During their prime, the band had millions of fans and just as many haters, thanks to Durst's omnipresence and attitude. In their most infamous moment, their performance at Woodstock '99 turned the crowd into a sea of groping, violent, destructive moshers. Durst and other rockers caught flak for inciting the bad behavior with their music as well as between-songs banter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Q72gvldxoA&feature=relatedAdmit it heavyg ... Hey man I told you earlier today. I like this style of music. Back in the 90's I listened to them and Kid Rock. However, today I still listen to that style (as well as others) the difference the message is a little different ;-)
