The media scrutiny Sarah Palin is under doesn't really affect me. Unless, I decide to move to Alaska in the next two weeks? lol One of my cousins has lived in Alaska for 30 years. It affects her more, than it does me. I could probably count on one hand. How many times I saw her in the last 30 years? I'm not sure, if she even votes? When I do see her, a political discussion has never came up. I doubt, if I ever move to Alaska. During the winter months, its to damm cold in NY. Let alone, Alaska. With that being said... I never knew you were a DJ, Ark. I learn something new everyday. Its the easiest job I ever had. The hardest part was, which song to play next? A tune from Def Leppard, Van Halen, Boston, or Skynyrd? The station never had a set playlist. Like, they do at your favorite station. I could play whatever I wanted. As long as the songs didn't have any four letter words in it. Which was on the no-play list. (Like Foreigner's, "Head of Games." Or Foghat's "Slow Ride.") I don't remember, the station manager ever yelling at me. "Your not supposed to play that song. Its on the no-play list!" Sometimes I wish, I was still spinning tunes after school. I miss those days. I used to play this song all the time: www.youtube.com/watch?v=62diHTKQ-N8&feature=related

VINYL!!! the station did not even have a CD player! yeah, it was that long ago! it was right after high school and heavy metal was HOT and there were very few places to hear it around here so i was VERY popular! i was 18, 19 and 20 when i was doing it, all the girls wanted to meet me and all the guys wanted to drink a beer or smoke a joint with me - it was GREAT! my brief and minor stint of small time celebrity, i will never forget it. i left the job when i moved to Colorado and i got lots of fan mail telling me how much i was loved and missed. it was very very cool! : )

Another typical socialist left tactic in action. Who were the biggest threats to Jr Jesus...... Sarah Palin and Sean hannity. It comes to no surprise to me that the left is trying to dig up/ make up dirt on these two. It worked for Clinton, and now for Jr Jesus(obama.) To be honest those of us on the right could care less about what the liberal left media has to say about anything. They are biased! They are trying to socialize America and steal your personal freedoms. Screw them! Prossman

your response is ANOTHER case of a righty crying foul without even looking at the video, THERE IS NO DISPUTING IT!!! there was nothing to "dig up"!! on palin or hannity, THEY DID IT THEMSELVES! you can not blame anyone for reporting WHAT THEY DID!! the media did not twist their arms, they are very capable of making themselves look bad with no help whatsoever!
FYI mediamatters.org is as unbiased as they get

To be honest, Im not saying he is any better or worse than the leftist communist party aka the democrats, but he does stand for keeping america free, which is more than what I can say about the left. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hanity is a inflencial outspoken Concervative, which makes him the enemy of your side. Like rush or anyone else who has a different opinion from the left. So what ur saying is freedom of speech is ok as long as people think and believe just like you? It ok for the left to slaughter people from the right thru the media but when some from theright attacks the left ....they need to be silenced? ? That is EXACTLY what your party thinks and does on a regular basis thur 3 of the 4 major networks, every single day! But thats OK isn't it ark, cause they think like you.....Prossman

again, MISSING THE POINT! he is editing video to make it say what he wants it to rather than what was actually being said! how many times must i say this? there is a difference between taking something out of context and what he is doing! if you can not see it then you are not as smart as i think you are OR you are COMPLETELY drunk on the hater-ade!! as for free, we clearly have different definitions for what free is.
there are alot of GOP talking heads i could live without, but i do not think of any of them as an "enemy" unless they become agents of misinformation. it is one thing to have philosophical differences, but to outright misrepresent and to lie just for the sake of one upping the other "team" is grade school tactics and has no place in meaningful discussion! you should try to learn the difference!!
i am all for (to use the words of the president) vigorous debate, but if you don't wanna support your argument with facts OR dismiss facts that put in front of you then there is NO POINT!

i am working from home now and as i sit at the typer all day i watch/listen to ALOT of news/media commentary in the background as i knock out these maps. i have been a news/politics junkie for a long time. it is fair to say that (with biases truly set aside) i have NEVER seen anything to compare to this except for the swift boat ads and the crap GWB said about McCain in the 2000 GOP primary. (ALL GOP originations i might add!) I CHALLENGE YOU TO SHOW ME AN EXAMPLE AS BAD IF YOU CAN!! i am providing PROOF! all you guys are doing is pooh poohing it. i am from Missouri, SHOW ME!!!

The media never edited some of GWB's comments for time? (Showing sarcasm.)
Once again Ark! That segment on Hannity's show is quick & to the point. He doesn't stay on one topic for very long.
Stop watching Rachel Maddow's show around 8:20, & turn on Fox News. Just to see what the segment is like. Its not that hard to figure out.
I don't know what else to say?

We didn't even have a CD player. (It was the mid to late eighties. When they just came out with CD's.) Two turn tables, a cassette deck, an old reel to reel machine, & a cart machine. Hell! We even had old 45's at the time. My station did a local benefit for a cancer patient. (Actually, the entire school did.) On the first day of the 3 day event. I was the only student to take over to the airwaves. We had four or five local dj's, being guest hosts that day. I took over the airwaves from 2:30 until 4 that day. After one of the local dj's named, as Ron Bee left the air. (I grew up listening to him.) He told me, "I'm going to listen to your show on his way home." I said, "Cool!" Than I shook his hand, & told him, "Thank you." I'm not sure, how long Ron Bee listened to my show? Since, the radio station was only a 1,000 watt radio station. One of my friends once told me, after he left the the school parking lot. All he get is static in his car radio. It was shortly after, he saw me spinning tunes one day after school. In 2004, Ron Bee won two CMA Awards for being, "Personality of the Year." (In a medium market.) You can say, "Its my claim to fame." Here's Ron Bee's web site: www.b1047.net/pages/ronbee.html

don't say anything - SHOW ME! Rush Limbaugh making a funny comment about Ed Schultz. From yesterday's Rush Limbaugh's show: RUSH: I, single-handedly, am in charge of the Republicans on the committee and their interrogation techniques. Now, there's a show on MSNBC named after a horse, The Ed Show. A talking horse. I think they brought the horse out of retirement to host the show. And the horse, Mister Ed, is talking to a former CIA officer, Jack Rice, about the Sotomayor hearings; and Mister Ed, the horse, says to the CIA officer, "I think you come from a profession where keeping your cool is pretty important. Did she pass the test today?"
RICE: It's about scoring political points right now. And if what they're doing is pandering to Rush Limbaugh, then Sessions may have won.
HORSE: Well...
RICE: But if he's trying to actually convince the rest of America that he's actually mainstream, he may have a very serious problem.
RUSH: They're actually talking about Jeff Sessions there, and Jeff Sessions was pandering to me. (laughing) I have not spoken to these guys about any of this. I've not attempted to call 'em. I never do. So (sigh) imagine... I didn't watch any of this last night. I actually had a fun dinner party last night and I didn't watch any of this stuff. I don't watch any of this stuff at night anymore. I can't handle it. It stopped being informative and educational a long time ago. So, as you know, I pay people to do this, to watch it so we can have the audio sound bites. This is the first I've heard of this stuff. It's getting so routine that I'm responsible for everything Republicans do, I don't even get e-mail from people telling me about it anymore. So I just hear about it when I have the audio sound bites. Grab a couple phone calls here on the first pitch 'cause I want to broom that we're going to get into health care here pretty soon For the entire transcript from "The Coward's" radio show: www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_071509/content/01125108.guest.html Sometimes, you have to laugh at some of this stuff.
