You can't even light a cigarette at a bar. If you do, the bartender gets fined. Let alone, in a public building. Including your work place. Anytime I visit a hospital, you see nurses in the parking lot lighting up. In my state, you don't have to walk outside. The smoker has to walk outside, if they want to smoke? Than, they stand right near the door & have a drag.

Not sure what you mean in the last statment. but yes in my state Ok and also calif if a person wants to smoke and they are in a private (resteraunt) or state run building they have to go outside to smoke. And they are not supposed to stand just outside the door. They have to be 20 ft from the door
